Garran Duncan has more than 30 years of experience providing advisory and assurance services to large global organizations in internal audit, risk management and corporate governance. His consulting focus has been in the resources, manufacturing, infrastructure and government sectors, advising both private and government clients on managing major change initiatives and associated risk. With extensive expertise working across multiple countries to solve his client’s complex issues, Garran’s hands-on, responsive leadership style enables his teams to consistently deliver exceptional client experiences. Garran’s notable accomplishments include successfully leading a complex payroll project at a large multinational Australian-based firm, which required a deep technical skillset, high degree of responsiveness and the management of numerous stakeholders. A trusted advisor, Garran continues to provide regular advice to the client’s top executives and management. In addition to his client work, Garran helped to establish Protiviti Australia and has held numerous global leadership roles within the firm, including serving as Australia Country Lead, Protiviti Global Mining segment lead, Global Account lead and APAC Quality Risk Management and Internal Audit lead. Garran earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Melbourne University and is a Chartered Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Quality Assessor and Certified Risk Assessor.
