
A founding member of Protiviti’s Executive Team, on which he served for 13 years, Brian Christensen recently transitioned to lead the firm’s Global Managed Solutions and Collaboration efforts. He was a founding managing director of Protiviti in 2002 and, prior to that, a partner at Arthur Andersen. Brian has held multiple leadership roles throughout his career, including geography, industry and solution responsibilities, and served as Protiviti’s practice leader for Internal Audit and Financial Advisory services. A licensed CPA (retired), he participates in numerous professional associations. Brian was recognized by the Institute of Internal Auditors in 2022 with the Bradford Cadmus Memorial Award for outstanding contributions to internal audit. In 2019, he was recognized by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) for demonstrated excellence in the boardroom on corporate governance. Consulting Magazine named him one of its Top Consultants in 2017 in the leadership category. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a BBA in Accounting degree, Brian serves on the board of advisors for the Wisconsin School Business and Dhaliwal-Reidy School of Accountancy at the University of Arizona. He has also held leadership roles in several charitable organizations focused on supporting children and local communities.
