
Augustin de Romanet began his career working alongside several French ministers, including François d’Aubert, Alain Madelin, Alain Lamassoure and Jean Arthuis. He was then Chief of Staff to Alain Lambert, Deputy Chief of Staff to Francis Mer, Chief of Staff to Jean-Louis Borloo, Deputy Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin and Deputy Secretary General of the Presidency under Jacques Chirac.
de Romanet was later Deputy Head of Finance and Strategy at Crédit Agricole Group, Chairman of the Board of Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations and Chairman and CEO of Groupe ADP. He is also a board member of the SAS du Cercle des Économistes, Chairman of Paris Europlace and Chairman of Cercle Turgot. He is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris and the École Nationale d’Administration (ENA).
In recent years, Eight Advisory has significantly expanded its geographic footprint and service offering to private equity funds, international corporations and family offices. In his new role, Augustin de Romanet will play a key role in supporting the firm’s continued growth and the execution of its strategic ambitions.
