Peter Szczerba, Senior Principal, Publicis Sapient

Peter Szczerba is a dynamic leader with an 11-year career at Publicis Sapient, where he has risen from a junior associate to North American Retail Data Lead. A graduate of the University of Waterloo’s Science and Business program, Peter began his journey with co-op terms in telecommunications, networking and media before joining Publicis Sapient through its campus hiring program.

Peter’s early career was defined by a passion for learning and tackling new challenges, starting with BlackBerry and expanding across industries like retail, automotive, health care, travel, hospitality and consumer products. He built deep expertise in data analytics, including web analytics, A/B testing, and CRM strategy, while broadening his impact across transformative client engagements.

In addition to delivering exceptional results for clients, Peter has made a lasting impact within Publicis Sapient. He helped transform the firm’s growth and promotion process, established public speaking development clubs, and organized culture-building initiatives that elevated the firm’s environment. His holistic contributions propelled him to the Data Strategy leadership team and his current role.

Outside work, Peter is a devoted husband and father of two daughters. He also co-founded a nonprofit basketball academy in Toronto, combining his professional expertise with his passion for basketball and community impact.
