As a Manager, Science and Strategy, Kali has spent the last three years supporting Medical Affairs teams with strategic planning and insight generation through internal and external stakeholder engagement. She has extensive experience working with HCP, patient, caregiver, and advocate stakeholders across a broad range of therapeutic areas to enable informed decision-making.
One area of focus for Kali has been to bring the patient voice to her client’s strategic planning. Through thoughtful engagement of patient communities, Kali has helped her clients build relationships, develop resources to support patients, inform cross-functional decision-making, and ultimately demonstrate an unmet need to regulatory bodies. Additionally, Kali has led initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of stakeholder interactions, recognizing how critical it is to maximize these engagements through preparation and execution.
Prior to joining Herspiegel, Kali trained as a microbiologist, conducting international research in molecular microbiology and infectious disease drug discovery. She holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Toronto. Drawing on her academic experience, Kali has supported her clients in telling clear scientific narratives tailored to the specific audience to ensure consistent and effective communication.
