An associate director in Protiviti’s Internal Audit and Financial Advisory solution, Andrew specializes in technology enablement and technology risk. He has more than 10 years of professional experience, including almost nine years as an internal auditor. For the past six years, he has focused on automation, analytics, AI and other enabling technologies applied to audit, compliance and beyond.
At Protiviti, Andrew has provided internal audit outsourcing and co-sourcing, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) readiness and compliance services, automation development and technical support services, automation program assessment services, information security services and trainings on enabling technology.
Andrew has also played key roles internally, developing and leading Protiviti’s Automation Center of Excellence and Technology Accelerator Platform (TAP) along with the internal audit automation and analytics solution. Additionally, he has developed AI solutions within internal audit utilizing OpenAI’s API. He is on the product team for several enterprise AI solutions and was an integral part of the team that recently secured Protiviti’s first patent.
Andrew holds B.S. degrees in Finance and Management from Florida State University, where he also completed post baccalaureate work in Computer Science. He is a certified UiPath RPA Developer and previously earned GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) credentials.
