Benefits and human resources consulting firm Segal has announced its acquisition of Intactic, an employee communications company. This will expand Segal’s employee communications resources for its rapidly growing client roster as part of Segal’s commitment to provide impactful communications services.

Intactic’s expertise in internal communications, employee experience, and digital workplace technology that powers enterprise transformation and employee engagement will bolster Segal’s offerings to help employers nationwide communicate more clearly and empathetically with their workforce.

“In the wake of recent and expected layoffs, an uncertain economy and return-to-office mandates, many employees feel disconnected, disrupted and destabilized, and this acquisition can enhance the customized support we provide to clients,” said Jenny Schuster, Senior Vice President and Communications Practice Leader at Segal.

“Our addition of Intactic further enables us to help clients bring their employees together through meaningful communications that fortify trust and improve business outcomes,” said Michelle Lyn, Senior Vice President and Communications Practice Leader at Segal.

Intactic’s founder Preston Lewis joins Segal’s communications consulting practice, Segal Benz, as Senior Vice President and Communications Consultant, based out of the San Francisco office. He brings over 20 years of communications consulting experience advising leading brands and nonprofit organizations.

“Segal Benz and Intactic share a passion for helping organizations increase employee engagement, which made the decision to join the Segal family incredibly easy,” said Preston Lewis, Senior Vice President and Communications Consultant at Segal. “I look forward to driving measurable business goals for Segal’s current and future clients by modernizing internal communications.”
