Women's Health Access Matters (WHAM), a nonprofit organization, in collaboration with the KPMG Foundation and KPMG LLP, the U.S. audit, tax and advisory firm, has released its groundbreaking report “The Business Case for Accelerating Women's Health Investment,” during the 43rd Annual JPMorgan Healthcare Conference in San Francisco. The report highlights women’s health as a high-growth market poised to deliver transformative health outcomes and significant economic returns.

“Investing in the health of women is one of the most compelling business opportunities of our time,” said Carolee Lee, Founder and CEO of WHAM and TIME100 Global Health Leader. “Women comprise over half the global population and drive 80% of health care spending decisions, yet their health needs remain underfunded. The WHAM Investment Report broadens the traditional view of women’s health, emphasizing its expansive scope to include conditions that:
