Lina is a software engineer with over 25 years of experience in the software development outsourcing services industry working with high-profile North American clients. This has allowed her to acquire the necessary skills to tactfully manage a team of over 1,000 incredibly talented professionals and help them develop their full potential in a multicultural environment. Lina is known for her openness to accept people’s cultural differences, which allows her to facilitate global integration and growth at Perficient.
Lina has extensive experience in strategic management and execution of international technology projects. In addition, she is committed to excellence and technological innovations that make a mark on the global scene. Lina started her career as a software developer and went through several roles within the company, such as IT project manager, delivery manager, outsourcing services manager, operations manager and, most recently, general manager in Colombia.
“It has been a challenge to play different roles, continue to grow professionally, act as a mentor to my colleagues, and be a mother,” said Lina Jaramillo. “However, it all comes down to work-life balance and prioritization.
