2024 Top Consultants: Ben Herskowitz

Ben Herskowitz is a Senior Managing Director within FTI Consulting's Global ESG & Sustainability Advisory Practice, leads the firm's Global ESG Regulatory Working Group, and is a member of the ESG Executive Steering Committee. Ben has extensive experience advising private equity-backed and public company management teams across all sectors on how to best prepare for compliance with various regulatory pressures and successfully navigate the evolving expectations of the investment community as it relates to decision-useful and value-creative disclosure. His most recent projects involve advising clients on how to efficiently and strategically manage compliance efforts related to regulation stemming from the U.S. and E.U., with a focus on the interoperability of passed and proposed regulation. Prior to joining FTI Consulting in 2017, Ben was an early employee and worked in corporate development at a PE-backed renewable energy startup now owned by Fifth Third Bank and began his career in investment banking with BB&T's Windsor Group focused on Aerospace, Defense, and Government Services. Ben is also an IFRS Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) credential holder.
