Kevin Hughes is a Senior Director in FTI Consulting's Cybersecurity practice and is based in London. He leverages his in-depth knowledge of forensic technology to assist in solving a broad range of technical problems within the realms of digital forensics, cybersecurity and investigations. Hughes has acted as a named expert witness for use in the high court and has managed numerous expert advisory reports for use in other forums such as employment tribunals and arbitrations. He has several years of experience in forensically capturing and preserving data from a wide range of digital devices, including servers, computers and mobile devices. Hughes has worked on internal investigations for corporates, solicitors and high net worth individuals, determining whether and/or how data was compromised or manipulated. He is also experienced in the forensic analysis of blockchain technology and has spoken as a keynote speaker on the information security and privacy implications of blockchain technology. Additionally, Hughes has authored articles that have been published in peer-reviewed journals and the technical press on subjects including cybersecurity and forensics.
