The 2024 Rising Stars of the Profession: Naphtali Rivkin

Naphtali Rivkin, Manager with StoneTurn in New York, brings nearly a decade of experience in intelligence and investigations for the U.S. government, private investors, and political and nonprofit organizations.

Naphtali focuses on pre-transaction human capital diligence, strategic intelligence advisory, and political and reputational risk, advising clients across a range of industries.

Naphtali has investigated founders, board members, LPs, shareholders, and new hires on behalf of private firms and public companies. On a multiyear contract with the U.S. Department of Defense, Naphtali participated in a human targeting process vital to national security, worked on intelligence-driven strategic communications operations, and led efforts to leverage open-source intelligence alongside classified sources. He has experience assisting political organizations and not-for-profit foundations.

Previously, Naphtali was a director of research for a boutique due diligence and investigations firm, contracting intelligence analyst with the U.S. DoD, and communications director for a DC-based nonprofit. He previously served as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army reserve.
