Excellence in Leadership: Health Care & Well-being
As Consulting Manager, Alex Paige collaborates with health systems to deploy GE HealthCare's Command Center technology to help reduce costs, increase efficiency, improve growth and boost staff satisfaction. His hands-on leadership supports cross-functional collaboration, underpinning the success of the large-scale implementations he has led. Some of Alex's most notable achievements include:
- Program lead for the Providence Health Command Center, which encompasses two states, 16 hospitals and 3,500 beds. First year results saw an increase in patient volume by 4,800.
- Collaborating with Oregon Health and Sciences University to develop software for the statewide Behavioral Health Coordination Center.
Currently, Alex is overseeing the Command Center program with The Queen's Health System, where they recently celebrated the grand opening of The Aukahi Center. The centralized functions and software designed to support it, will provide real-time visibility to support supply and demand for capacity at a system level across the state.
