D.C. office acquisition boosts forensic accounting and commercial damages group.
Global risk consultancy HKA, has announced that Drew Hauge has joined the firm's Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages team as a Director based in Washington.
Mr. Hauge has 15 years of experience in forensic accounting and fraud investigations, with a focus on matters involving fraudulent misrepresentation, misappropriation of assets, corruption, damage claims analysis and asset tracing. He is a team leader who has provided litigation support and expert witness services to a variety of clients. Mr. Hauge has also testified as an expert witness on multiple occasions.
At HKA, Mr. Hauge will author expert reports; perform financial, accounting, and economic analyses and data analytics; and prepare business valuations.

Prior to joining HKA, Mr. Hauge was an Associate Director at Berkley Research Group, where he managed fraud investigations, provided expert testimony, conducted accounting research and oversaw project teams. He earned his BS in accounting with a specialization in auditing and an MS in accounting with a specialization in forensic accounting, both from Wake Forest University.
Mr. Hauge is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). He is a published co-author in West Law Journal White-Collar Crime and a guest lecturer at Wake Forest University.
