CMAG: How would you say you've managed to stay among the industry's Best Firms to Work For amid these unprecedented times?

Honestly, we truly care about every Infinitivian and every one of our clients. It's not that hard if you really care.

CMAG: Were there any specific programs or initiatives (internal or external) that contributed to you being a Best Firm to Work For?

Over the past 15 months we have driven significant change within Infinitive focused on creating an exceptional employee experience. Throughout these changes, we focus on constant and frequent communication to ensure our Infinitivians remain engaged and understand the program's value for them. We also have a rule, only change what really needs to be changed. One new program is our career path. We recently updated our career path to be more in line with industry. What we had worked well but as we've changed our business model and areas of focus, we needed to change our career path.

In January, we rolled out The Infinitive Way which consists of "fundamentals" that highlights key attitudes, beliefs, activities, and expectations for life at Infinitive. It's been a big hit and made it fun and enjoyable to reinforce key aspects of our culture.

CMAG: What's unique about your firm? What sets it apart?

Our culture. Period. CMAG: What's the top priority over the next 6 to 12 months?

Always a priority is maintaining a great culture. That said, we must adapt to the marketplace and to what our clients our bringing. In 2017, we shifted to a Cloud-focused technology and transformation consultancy… In 2023 and beyond, we continue to shift toward an AI and data consultancy with a focus on business value and use cases. It's never just about the technology; rather, it's about how your business can improve with the latest technology. Over the past year, we've had the opportunity to do several leading-edge AI technology projects that are driving substantial benefits for our clients.

CMAG: When you look at the remainder of this year and 2024, what excites you? What opportunities do you see in your markets?

Frankly, it's been a tough year in our primary markets served: Financial Services (hello Silicon Valley Bank), Media (is anyone watching TV and movies?), and Education (COVID has made it easy to look for alternative forms of education). However, we have recently seen a big shift in budgets and spend in all our markets. Our clients are back to making investments to leverage technology to drive business benefit.

CMAG: What impact do you think being a Best Firm to Work For has on the firm? Employees? Clients?

It's always an honor to be on the list… and we are proud to be on this list so many times. We expect to see a bump in recruiting talent. Consulting Magazine is the periodical for our industry and a great reference source for talent.
