CMAG: How would you say you've managed to stay among the industry's Best Firms to Work For amid these unprecedented times?
It started with having great team members and building on that foundation and hiring a diverse group of individuals who believe in both our mission statement and our culture. We empower all our resources to be "keepers of our culture". It starts with how we treat our colleagues, our clients, and how we serve our community and families outside of work.
CMAG: Were there any specific programs or initiatives (internal or external) that contributed to you being a Best Firm to Work For?
We started several new initiatives and significant investments this year to better support our people. Two areas were centered around DEI and Flexible Work & Alternate Career Path Options.
CMAG: What's unique about your firm? What sets it apart?
We've created a professional environment where individuals can learn, grow with no limits, and lead in a firm that values teamwork, collaboration and innovation. Opportunities are boundless and only limited by the ambition of our resources if they adhere to our mission and culture.
CMAG: What's the top priority over the next 6 to 12 months?
To ensure all resources have the management support, tools, and training to be successful in their roles.
CMAG:When you look at the remainder of this year and 2024, what excites you? What opportunities do you see in your markets?
We see tremendous growth opportunity as we head into the Fall and plan for 2024. From a personnel perspective we plan to hire vigorously to expand our growing group of consultants and revenue and administrative support teams. Given our focus on enhancing profitable revenue growth for our clients…we only see upside as companies must focus on growing the topline.
CMAG: What impact do you think being a Best Firm to Work For has on the firm? Employees? Clients?
From a Firm perspective it helps validate that we are doing the right things to build a vibrant community. That said, we must always strive to be better by soliciting input and adapting, as necessary. As an employee you know that you're in a great place to work and that you have shared destiny with the Firm written large to help retain and grow the culture of the Firm. As a client you know that you're partnering with an entity that's going to lead with its people first which will ultimately make their relationship with AGI better.
