CMAG: How would you say you've managed to stay among the industry's Best Firms to Work For amid these unprecedented times?

We have always looked to the future with optimism – "always looking forward, together" is one of the tenets that guides us. While turbulent global economic conditions made the past year challenging, we made sure to communicate often and be as transparent as possible to help our employees understand the current environment and the role they needed to play in helping us achieve our collective goals. We know that a strong business strategy requires us to maintain focus on those things within our control.

We recognize that to provide the very best experiences for our clients, we must ensure our people feel empowered to take the initiative, look for opportunities to go above and beyond for their clients and for their teams, and find innovative ways to solve business challenges. We have always taken a 'people first' approach by prioritizing our workplace culture built on support, encouragement, collaboration, inclusion and mutual trust. This has created a foundation for our resilience despite an uncertain business climate.

CMAG: Were there any specific programs or initiatives (internal or external) that contributed to you being a Best Firm to Work For?

We have continued to support our people in all the ways they need us to as they develop their technical, consulting and leadership skills. Innovation is one of our core values, and one of the strongest drivers of engagement across our workforce. To support our commitment to innovation, we have created a comprehensive, human-centered design curriculum that includes instructor led, in-house developed trainings made available to the entire firm globally.

We have also focused on finding employees who will volunteer to serve as a role model or advocate – whether that is within the local office where they reside, the part of the practice they focus on, or the project teams they are a part of day-to-day. In doing so, our people have a say in the way that we grow, and are change agents in moving the firm forward.

In addition, we continue to support our hybrid work approach to meet the needs of our clients and employees – with the goal of delivering exceptional service to our clients while providing our employees in person opportunities for flexibility, learning, growth and innovation. This model continues to succeed because we know we can trust each other to do the right thing for our teams and for the business.

CMAG: What's unique about your firm? What sets it apart?

Our people are at the heart of everything we do. When our people consistently have exceptional experiences with us, we believe they will deliver exceptional experiences for our clients too.

Our commitment to empowering our people is aimed at helping them succeed in work and in life. For a team-based organization like ours, where our product is our people, we all are responsible for and impacted by the well-being of our colleagues. Reflecting a truly inclusive culture, we also offer a wide variety of programs and experiences that provide a safe place for each employee to have a voice that is heard, make connections that create belonging, and make a meaningful difference.

And we make it a priority to listen to our people and to incorporate their input into our business. We survey our people throughout the year and then act on the things they care about, creating an engaged workforce that understands they are shaping our future.

CMAG: What's the top priority over the next 6 to 12 months?

During the next year, we will continue to focus on providing solutions to our clients' most pressing needs across a myriad industries. We are investing in innovation and increasingly our agility so that we can help our clients successfully navigate the challenges of an ever-evolving business environment. We remain committed to our mission of 'We Care. We Collaborate. We Deliver' whether we are serving as strategic partners to our clients, growing our people in a culture that is a great place to work, or making a difference in our communities.

CMAG: When you look at the remainder of this year and 2024, what excites you? What opportunities do you see in your markets?

One of our core strengths from the firm's inception has been the ability to embrace – and adapt to change. This ability to pivot while staying true to our business model and values has been a key to our resilience and will drive our continued success. We look forward to prioritizing strategic investments to grow our high-demand capabilities, further strengthen our global presence through differentiated offerings for our clients, and rethink ways to solve today's most pressing business problems. We will continue to focus on developing our people's expertise, especially in areas that will drive our innovation goals and those of our clients.

Our workforce is comprised of people with consulting backgrounds and those who have worked directly in-industry, which uniquely positions us to deliver exceptional experiences to our clients.

Our unique partnership with our parent company Robert Half Inc. continues to provide a strong foundation that benefits our clients with talent solutions offerings.

In addition, we are leveraging existing partner and ecosystem relationships while seeking new partnerships that support the growth of our business and our service delivery.
