Cati is a technology consulting leader with more than two decades of experience helping organizations pursue digital transformation and expand their data and analytics capabilities.

What has been the biggest factor in your success so far?

My success stems from a combination of three key factors: adaptability, inquisitiveness and support. I have always embraced change and new technologies, which has enabled me to work across diverse industries and projects. Additionally, my curiosity and attention to detail have helped me provide valuable insights to my clients. Finally, my family has been my biggest support system throughout my career, always encouraging and motivating me to pursue my goals. Thanks to these factors, I have been able to achieve success and make a positive impact in my profession.

What do you enjoy most about your career in the consulting industry?

There are two main reasons I have enjoyed my many years in the consulting industry: the amazing people I get to work with and the endless variety of opportunities to make a positive impact. Working alongside talented colleagues and clients is incredibly rewarding and energizing. Whether it's collaborating on a complex project or problem-solving with a team, I feel constantly challenged and inspired.

What is your proudest achievement to date?

Picking one achievement as my proudest is challenging, as there are many milestones and successful projects I could highlight. However, two things that stand out are the satisfaction of seeing my clients succeed after we complete a project, and watching my team grow and excel over time. Seeing our clients successfully implement the solutions we develop and improve their organizations is incredibly rewarding and motivates me to continue delivering high-quality work. Additionally, watching my team grow and develop their skills, to the point where they can take on projects and responsibilities independently, fills me with pride and joy.

What's the best advice you've ever been given?

I've been fortunate to receive much advice from mentors, colleagues and friends over the years, but one piece of advice that has consistently resonated with me is to take a step back and look at things from a different perspective. This has been particularly helpful in situations where I've felt stuck or uncertain about the best course of action. By taking a step back and reassessing the situation, I've been able to gain clarity and come up with better solutions.

Another piece of advice that has served me well is to allow people to vent and then follow up with a plan of action. This has helped me manage challenging situations and maintain productive relationships with colleagues and clients. My tip for applying this advice is to actively listen and acknowledge the other person's perspective, even if you don't agree with it. Then, once they have had the chance to express themselves, work together to find a constructive way forward. Overall, I believe that these two pieces of advice have been crucial in helping me navigate complex situations and develop more productive relationships with those around me.

What does this recognition mean to you?

This recognition is incredibly meaningful to me for a number of reasons. First, it's an acknowledgment of the hard work and dedication that I have put into my career over the years, and it's gratifying to see that effort recognized. Moreover, it's a validation of the impact that I have had on others. Knowing that I have helped colleagues and mentees in meaningful ways has always been important to me, and hearing from them about the positive impact I've had on their careers has been truly heartwarming. This recognition has reminded me of the importance of being a supportive and inspiring presence in the lives of others, and it has inspired me to continue to work hard and strive for excellence in all that I do. Lastly, I am deeply grateful for the support and encouragement that I have received from my colleagues, both old and new. Their kind words and expressions of support mean more to me than I can express, and I am humbled by their generosity. Overall, this recognition has been a humbling and inspiring experience, and I am excited to continue to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
