What do you consider your greatest personal or professional achievement?

My greatest professional achievement thus far has been earning the respect of my senior Alexander Group colleagues to progress from being a young analyst to become a member of the leadership team and helping to drive the international expansion of the firm.

What advice would you give a professional just beginning a career in consulting?

My advice to individuals beginning a career in the consulting industry is to be an active listener and to put clients first. Technical consulting skills can always be learned but those foundational principles have been key to my career and others that have had an accelerated career trajectory.

What have you loved most about your consulting career?

The most fulfilling part of consulting for me has been the ability to connect with people from all-around the world and collaborate to solve business challenges. This is a rare career that allows you to meet hundreds of people every year with incredible backgrounds, personalities and professional experiences that have made me a better-rounded consultant and individual.

What's the best advice—personal or professional—you've ever received

The best advice I've been given both personally and professionally has been "invest in yourself." It is very easy to become preoccupied with daily responsibilities and stresses of everyday life. However, take a step back to realize that you are your own most important asset and that you are the only one responsible for protecting, developing and growing that asset. Prioritize your mental, physical, emotional well-being, continue to be curious and seek education, and set personal and professional goals.

What does being honored as a Global Leader mean to you?

Being recognized as a global leader for Excellence in Client Service is truly an honor. It has been great to be publicly recognized and to be able to share the news with my family and friends. Most importantly, it has been great to share the award with my colleagues and teammates I've worked with along the way.
