Bejarano: SCALE health care provides both the broadest and deepest range of solutions available to health care management teams in the US, based on our collective and fundamental belief that narrow and/or purely theoretical solutions can't solve for multi-disciplinary challenges. It is our full range of multidisciplinary solutions that we offer exclusively to health care organizations that has made us stand out amongst other health care management consultancies in the US and contributed to our exceptional growth since 2019.
Consulting: How would you say you've managed to maintain growth during the unprecedented past three years?
Bejarano: SCALE health care has an outstanding team of 120+ advisors plus operators who possess deep operational real-world experience and insights in health care services. They are highly dedicated in building modernized health care delivery platforms for our clients to yield better results and elevate management performance. Our advisors not only offer solutions on how to grow our client's health care businesses, but they offer the reasons behind their recommendations and the ability to partner in the execution. Our health care advisors are true business partners to our physician leaders, with their unique goals always top of mind. This is one of our biggest differentiators, and it's why we believe SCALE health care has grown so rapidly in just three years.
External factors have also contributed to our growth. The Private Equity industry has seen an uptick in health care company investments during the pandemic. There is more demand than ever for health care management consultants who have real-world health care business knowledge. We're seeing more of a need to help these health care organizations and their physicians prepare for rapid and sustainable growth and SCALE has the unique breadth of multidisciplinary services and knowledge to do so.
Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?
Bejarano: Since the firm's inception in 2019, SCALE health care has quickly grown to employ 120+ advisors + operators in 10 cities across the US, expanded its offerings to include a full suite of multidisciplinary solutions, and added 15 divisions to its company.
This year alone, SCALE health care announced the addition of 5 new company subsidiaries and the launch of a new online health care educational content platform, SCALE Education, that will elevate health care operations performance, leadership, and culture by offering insights from the nation's top health care CEOs, expert market research analysis, and opportunities for peer engagement & collaboration.
SCALE health care is shaping up to be the nation's premier health care management consulting firms for advising health care CEOs, executives, management teams, physician leaders and their organizations to accelerate growth & elevate management performance across health care services.
We're excited to announce that SCALE health care is forecasted to close out the year with approximately 30-70 percent growth and we anticipate an even stronger year ahead.
Consulting: How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2023? Where do you see the most opportunities?
Bejarano: SCALE health care will see continued organic growth across its 15+ divisions next year. There will also be continued external growth through the acquisition of clinical and business service assets. We're aiming to build out our offerings in Europe, as well as further develop our SCALE Education online platform, and improve our data analytics and compliance offerings.
We believe that opportunities lie in SCALE's multidisciplinary approach. Health care service organizations are looking for a one-stop shop when they are rapidly scaling their business and that's exactly what SCALE provides.
Next year, we will continue to provide the broadest and deepest range of solutions because we believe narrow isolated solutions won't cut it in 2023. The future will continue to present our health care leaders with multi-disciplinary challenges, and it will be the most adaptable and agile consulting firms that will continue to see rapid growth next year.
Consulting: What would you say are your firm's biggest challenges in 2023?
Bejarano: SCALE has lofty growth initiatives within each of our divisions and being able to supply our leaders with the right talent will be our greatest challenge in 2023.
Externally, inflation concerns and government reductions in health care will be a challenge. Organizations will have to face head-on next year. But at SCALE we thrive during difficult times. We will rise to the challenge and continue to be strategic partners for our clients focused on optimal business outcomes.
