What does winning this award mean to you?

For me and for The Changists, winning this award means the world, in terms of giving us more recognition that would contribute to the opportunity of us growing our business to help more law firms that serve, BIPOC communities and under-served communities. As a Black-owned, LGBTQ-owned, and women-owned business, it means the world to us to be given an opportunity to help those in our communities who need it most.

What's been the biggest factor in your success?

Teamwork. Founding a business with my wife, Stacey has helped us to build a team of leaders that keep our business running.

What has motivated you to excel over the course of your career?

Our vision for The Changists is to help lawyers by being better at the business side of running their firms. We want to help create intentional and purposeful change in the law industry, help build future business leaders, and play a part of growing diverse firms. We offer advisory services at hourly project rates. Fractional services to other firms and organizations that don't have a need for a full-time employee such as billing, operational support, leadership, and marketing. We hope to give firms with smaller budgets the same value of service that firms with larger budgets have. We also aim to highlight mental health and its importance.
