Rising Stars of the Profession 2021: Adedayo (Dayo) Ojo

Dayo helps clients leverage premier CRM tools to increase their customer-centricity, responsiveness, operational excellence, and enterprise agility. He manages Celerity's Salesforce partnership to maximize lead sharing and co-marketing activities.

For over a decade, Dayo has strengthened customer engagement through a combination of deep-rooted knowledge about business processes, technology, and best practices to help clients advance in their customer transformation journey.

While working as the Manager, Customer Solutions at KPMG US, Dayo architected and led the creation of The National COVID-19 Resiliency Network (NCRN) Portal. The NCRN Portal is a platform built on Salesforce with integration to other data services to communicate and share information to disproportionately impacted communities.

Prior to joining Celerity, Dayo successfully led Salesforce and customer transformation efforts at KPMG, where he served as a senior engagement and client lead.

Dayo notes the biggest factor in his success so far is coworkers, "I have been incredibly blessed to have worked with team members, managers and mentors who have made huge investments in me to help me grow and succeed. Having the opportunity to work with and learn from these people is a major factor in my success."

"There are many things I enjoy," Dayo says about his career. "But if I were to choose the main one, it would be the opportunity to constantly grow, upskill, reinvent myself professionally and personally as I work with different teams and solve different client challenges in an ever-evolving business world."

Dayo also takes great pride in helping others, "The Covid-19 pandemic created a lot of opportunities for me to really make a difference. Between building a Covid 19 Information service platform for underserved communities, developing a vaccine management cloud solution, and leading the implementation of a PPP Loan application & loan forgiveness solution, I was able to see the direct impact of my work on the lives of everyday Americans."

He quotes a nugget of advice that he favors, "Nothing changes until you change, nothing moves until you move. You can't hope for things to get better or fix themselves; you have to take action, boldly."

What would this recognition mean to you?

"Being nominated by my firm leadership is a humbling experience. I am already very fortunate to be part of the Celerity team of talented individuals and this nomination from the team tells me that I am appreciated, and it gives me more energy to keep going."
