CMAG: How would you say you've managed to stay among the industry's Best Firms to Work For amid these unprecedented times? Last year, we didn't know how long the pandemic would last, nor did we have a full understanding of how it would impact our business. What we did know is that we had, and continue to have, an exceptionally talented team of people across our business. Throughout the pandemic, our team has demonstrated an incredible amount of agility, collaboration and creativity while remaining focused on supporting our clients, our company and each other. It is this dedication combined with our collaborative, inclusive culture that has enabled us to come together in new and innovative ways to help our clients address their most complex challenges and plan for an uncertain future.

CMAG: Were there any specific programs or initiatives (internal or external) that contributed to you being a Best Firm to Work For?

This past year has changed all of us. While some of the personal and economic challenges will continue to have a lasting impact, it has enabled our company to be more collaborative, compassionate, nimble and innovative. We leaned into the opportunities presented and reinforced our collective commitment to investing in our people and our communities to build a more equitable society. Our focus remains on fostering an inviting, equitable and inclusive work environment, advancing diverse representation across all levels of the organization, and expanding our community outreach and support.

To support these commitments, we provided employees additional physical and mental health resources, financial support to invest in home offices, increased flexible work arrangements and offered additional childcare benefits. We hosted company-wide events and unconscious bias workshops that enabled open dialogue on diversity and inclusion, and our employees looked to our 10 employee resource groups to find a sense of belonging and community during these difficult times.

CMAG: What's the top priority over the next 6 to 12 months?

The safety and well-being of our employees remain our top priority as things continue to evolve. For our clients, the competitive landscape across the industries we serve is rapidly changing and we anticipate that the demand for consulting services will also continue to increase. We remain focused on collaborating across our business to bring the best strategic, operational, financial and technology expertise forward to help our clients address their most complex challenges and own their future.

CMAG: When you look at the remainder of this year and 2022, what excites you? What opportunities do you see in your markets?

The substantial changes occurring within each of the industries we serve have created significant opportunities for our future growth. Our clients are looking to us to help them plan for the future and think through and implement innovative solutions that will allow them to be successful for years to come. With our deep client relationships, industry expertise and extensive technology capabilities, we believe we are well-positioned to guide our clients through their transformation journey and deliver sustainable results.
