Regine Bonneau

RB Advisory

Excellence in Client Services

When Regine Bonneau reflects on her greatest personal achievement, her answer is prompt and simple.  "My greatest personal achievement and blessing calls me mom." Second only to that is the professional achievement of growing her company, RB Advisory, from a one-person shop to more than 23 full-time and contractor team members.

Her perspective on the challenges of being a female in the technology field is somewhat pragmatic. "Being a female consultant in the technology field has been a fun rollercoaster ride," she notes. " knowledge is always being tested and validated by a male counterpart. The vetting process takes longer. I always find myself to be at the negotiation table to adjust my fees even after being told that they are competitive to other offers."

Throughout her career, there has been advice given, but Regine says the best advice she received was from a mentor who counseled her to stop worrying about the 10 percent that she didn't know and focus on the 90 percent that she does know. True collaboration with her peers will complete the 10 percent. That is security.

Q&A: What does winning a Women Leaders in Technology award mean to you?

I am humbled and honored to have been selected as one of the honorees for the Women Leaders in Technology award from Consulting magazine. It made me stop and reflect upon the years of learning, working and collaborating with colleagues and how it impacted my career in such a positive way.  It was well worth it and by doing so I value the impact that mentors have on supporting entrepreneurs. I always aspire to be a Leader in Technology and hope that it inspires other women to do the same.  The industry needs more women leaders, especially for diversity and inclusion.
