Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm's exceptional growth?

Faughey: Over the past 3 years, we have continued to focus on the unique blend of the three core elements of our value proposition to our clients: Life Sciences, Project Management, and Subject Matter Expertise. We have achieved growth through hiring exceptional Project Management consultants to our team, including those with a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. Our clients keep coming back to us to execute their projects because of our exceptional team.

Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?

Faughey: In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 has posed its share of both challenges and opportunities for FlexPro. While we've had to close our physical offices, we have continued to service our clients remotely with our project management service offering, while hardly missing a beat. "Flexibility at work" has always been a part of our culture and the pandemic has enabled us to show our clients how their projects are still being delivered through our Virtual PM program despite these challenging times. Additionally, with our clients being in the Life Sciences industry, the pandemic has opened up opportunities for us to help with accelerating the development of vaccines, treatments, and devices, and with managing critical supply chains.

Consulting: How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2021? Where do you see the most opportunities?

Faughey: FlexPro's outlook for 2021 is bright. With the world's increased emphasis on healthcare due to COVID-19, we see our Life Sciences clients even more focused and determined to find treatments and cures for diseases, to improve the quality of life for patients. We also believe that the value of virtual work has proven itself through necessity and we see an opportunity to service even more clients without the geographical limitations.

Consulting: What would you say are your firm's biggest challenges in 2021?

Faughey: In 2021, we see our biggest challenge in continuing to hire the best and the brightest project management consultants to FlexPro. Since we don't have a household name like some of the larger management consulting firms, we need to work even harder to get the word out about the wonderful experience of working at FlexPro and the impact we make on our ultimate customers, which are patients.

Consulting: What does being named a Fastest Growing Firm mean to your firm, employees and clients?

Faughey: By being named one of Consulting's Fastest Growing Firms, we believe this will further emphasize to our employees and their families that we are committed to building a strong and healthy business. We also believe that this recognition will attract even more prospective Life Sciences clients nationally that may have not known about FlexPro and our project management offering before.
