Accenture has announced the acquisition of End-to-End Analytics, a data and analytics consulting firm out of Palo Alto, Calif., the company announced this week.
The move is intended to help Accenture beef up its data and analytics consulting capabilities in the Americas. The firm will be rolled into Accenture Applied Intelligence, which helps companies seamlessly integrated AI-powered data, analytics, and automation into business workflows. Accenture Applied Intelligence already has 40,000 professionals worldwide, including 4,000 data scientists spread out among approximately 50 dedicated centers.
"Over the past year, our focus on strategic acquisitions has enabled us to enhance how we serve clients in the analytics, data, and AI space," says Sanjeev Vohra, global lead for Accenture Applied Intelligence. "By adding End-to-End Analytics to Accenture Applied Intelligence, we look forward to scaling their unique approach to data science blended with our functional consulting practice to help our clients navigate the pace of change and gain more business value from their data and AI investments."
Joining Accenture will be more than 70 professionals from End-to-End Analytics, across offices in California, Massachusetts, and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The acquisition is the latest in a string of data and analytics-related add-ons for Accenture, which have included Analytics8 in Australia, Mudano in the UK, and Clarity Insights in the U.S. Despite cutting its workforce during the pandemic, it's made a number of other acquisitions stateside in 2020, including industrial-focused Myrtle Construction Group, inside sales firm N3, and organization and design firm Kates Kesler.
