Since its inception in 2016, Bothell, Wash.-based Ni2 Health's guiding principle has remained the same: to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to service excellence to both clients and team members every single day. Keeping a focus on employee morale and firm culture during challenging times has been one of the strategies that has served Ni2 Health particularly well this year.

"We would describe morale as highly engaged and interactive. Our goal is to build a 'Team of Stars' and we challenge our team members to give their very best to Ni2 each day.  As we grow and introduce new team members to Ni2, we do our very best to ensure that we create a clear 'path to success' roadmap for each team member," Adams says.

"We also don't put our Ni2 team members in a one-size fits all box. Our definition of success is customized both to the individual team member & the client, and specifically includes a focus on skill development and personal growth."

Looking out over the next 6-12 months, Ni2 isn't slowing down on its goal to recruit and cultivate top talent.

"Our top priority over the next 6 to 12 months continues to be our focus on both adding top talent and developing/retaining the talent that we already have. The recruitment of top talent remains a paramount initiative. This process will always be a core focus of Ni2 as a small firm.  As Ni2 expands it's reach we are steadfast in maintaining the quality of the delivery in service to our clients.  Without the best talent it will become a challenge to maintain the highest standards for execution and delivery," says Adams.

As for what being named as one of Consulting magazine's Best Small Firms to Work For list for 2020, Adams says it's validation of the firm's efforts to create a family environment.

"We feel it is important to be selected for this award. We feel is shows our leadership team that our team members do feel like they are part of our company. Our commitment and unwavering desire to create a family firm environment is at the forefront of what we do. With regards to our clients, we do hope they see this aware as a positive attribute that Ni2 excels at people and those firms with the best people accomplish great things!"
