The Northridge Group is a management consulting firm specializing in Customer Experience solutions, Quality Monitoring services and Business Transformation initiatives. Consulting caught up with CEO Therese K. Fauerbach to discuss the firm.
Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm's exceptional growth?
Fauerbach: At The Northridge Group, we have a passion for our clients' success, which translates to growth opportunities for our firm. Northridge consultants bring prior career experience in customer service, finance, technology or operations, enabling them to design practical solutions from real-world perspectives. Clients appreciate our collaborative approach, working together to identify the right problem to solve, building consensus on the solutions appropriate for their organizations, and then providing an implementation roadmap—enabling them to action the recommendations.
Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?
Fauerbach: 2019 has been an exciting year for our firm. We have hired some incredible new talent, launched some new, innovative solutions, developed meaningful partnerships with new clients, and opened a new office in Atlanta—important investments that add fuel to our growth engine. The Northridge Group celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2019. This has been a notable milestone and gave us pause to reflect on the strategies and tactics that led to this successful journey.
Consulting: How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2020?
Fauerbach: The Northridge Group is forecasting continued growth in 2020, and we are actively developing the plan that enables us to perform against that vision. Insights from working with our clients help us identify opportunities, which are based on their most pressing challenges. Without a doubt, all our clients are faced with increasing their operational efficiency and enhancing their customer loyalty. The competitive marketplace in every industry that we serve demands continuous innovation and digital enablement. At Northridge in 2020, we will continue to enhance our skills and solutions, leveraging technology and design processes to assess and solve our clients' business issues, helping them to grow.
Consulting: What are your firm's biggest challenges in 2020?
Fauerbach: The Northridge Group is a people business, so attracting and retaining talent is always top of mind for us. We cannot grow without the right people to deliver for our clients. With low unemployment and a wide array of job prospects, we know that we must market our brand as an attractive environment for employee development, engagement and opportunity.
Consulting: What does being named a Fastest Growing Firm mean to your firm, employees and clients?
Fauerbach: There's a saying that success breeds more success. This recognition has added a heightened level of excitement in our workplace. Our employees have always been passionate about embodying the Northridge mission, but the pride associated with being named one of Consulting's Fastest Growing Firms is driving increased incentive to do even more. As the face to our clients, Northridge employees' enthusiasm translates to even more fervent engagement for our clients.
