Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm's exceptional growth?
Stillmank: 7Summits has seen significant growth in both team size and revenue as our reputation for quality delivery of innovative solutions has spread throughout the Salesforce ecosystem. Skyrocketing from Silver to Platinum Salesforce Consulting Partner status in a little over one year is a rare achievement of which we are very proud. We share our Salesforce partner status because recognition by Salesforce points to upward trajectory in both topline performance and overall company health, as illustrated by financial performance, headcount growth, breadth of platform expertise and client satisfaction.
Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?
Stillmank: With 2019 representing the 10-year anniversary for 7Summits, we expect to finish out our first decade by reaching unprecedented heights. For starters, we earned Salesforce Platinum Partner status this year, a prestigious achievement that reaffirms our approach to helping our clients navigate their digital transformations. The company has experienced record-breaking growth this year in bookings, revenue and headcount, and has received numerous accolades and distinctions to recognize those achievements. Our three-year revenue growth reached over 86 percent in 2019, and our number of employees has grown in excess of 45 percent this year. In addition to this growth, 7Summits has also been able to develop itself as a premier workplace this year.
Consulting: How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2020?
Stillmank: Following the record-breaking growth 7Summits has experienced in 2019, the company is poised to continue on that incredible pace throughout 2020. 7Summits has a three-pronged strategy to take advantage of opportunities and maintain its growth momentum into next year and beyond. The first facet is our ongoing partnership with Salesforce. The two companies' shared focus on driving digital transformation at scale, combined with 7Summits' digital experience expertise will allow 7Summits to continue thriving.
Consulting: What are your firm's biggest challenges in 2020?
Stillmank: To successfully reach its growth goals, 7Summits will need to overcome three challenges heading into 2020. First, 7Summits must continue to strengthen its partnership with Salesforce and further expand its reputation as an innovator in creating digital experiences. Second, the company must continue to find and hire strong salespeople to continue building its scalable and predictable sales model. The last and possibly the biggest challenge facing 7Summits is adding delivery headcount to drive steady growth in revenue and profits. Finding and enabling talented consultants will be critical to meet the growing number of clients.
Consulting: What does being named a Fastest Growing Firm mean to your firm, employees and clients?
Stillmank: Being named a Fastest Growing Firm by Consulting further solidifies and supports our belief that 7Summits is well-positioned to continue on our rapid upward trajectory, which is noteworthy to our current employees, future employees and clients. It is a testament to the strength of our people and the sustainability of our solutions.
