The Hill Group
Excellence In Leadership
Vice President

Jordan Pallitto, Vice President of The Hill Group, finds plenty interesting about consulting but says what specifically excites him about the consulting work he's doing day in and day out is what excited him when he started in the profession some 13 years ago—the opportunity presented in every project to positively impact the trajectory of people and organizations. But that's not all he hangs his hat on when it comes to consulting. "I'm most proud of positive, long-term relationships with clients" developed over the years.
Those long-term relationships with clients have, of course, been a huge factor to the success he's had so far, but Pallitto says the biggest factor to his success so far has been guidance from strong mentors like The Hill Group's CEO, Chris Brussalis.
"That was and is still invaluable in my development," Pallitto says. "Early on in consulting, mentors like Chris helped to prepare me for consulting, knew just how much independence to give me, and instilled practices of reflection and continuous improvement that continue to serve me."
Ask Pallitto what's the best advice he's ever received and he'll say that although it may sound elementary, but the best advice he's received was to listen more than you speak.
"Success seems to rest on the trust that is built from humility, authenticity, and empathy. Active listening and strong communication are key to conveying these traits," he says.
And when it comes to being named one of the Rising Stars of the Profession, Pallitto says: It's fulfilling to be recognized among a talented group of peers, particularly in the area of leadership."
He says: "Recognition is not the goal, but I am thankful for it, and it certainly affirms that I just may be on the right track after all."
