The 2018 Best Small Firms to Work For: A-LIGN

Scott Price, CEO of A-LIGN says that for those that have worked for and with A-LIGN, the Best Small Firms to Work For award validates something that the firm already knows—that A-LIGN is one of the premier firms to work for. 

"Across the country, the A-LIGN team works to build a culture that embraces our core values and this award provides evidence that we are doing the right things with our team internally to live those values," Price says. "For our clients, it is a reminder of how important it is to continue doing the right things, such as our 24-hour response time, life-cycle approach, and the availability of our experts to guide our clients."

This year marks the first time ever landing on the list for the Tampa, Fla.-based firm. And it sounds like it won't be their last. A-LIGN continues to grow, Price says, which provides employees with upward mobility, access to continued education and certifications to fulfill market demands, and training and development in their new roles.

"This access to growth encourages our employees to continue to strive to meet their full potential at A-LIGN. Additionally, we have moved into a larger office in Tampa and continue to grow offices nationwide, which has built excitement internally," he says. 

And Price says morale continues to build with the recent announcement of FTV Capital's investment in A-LIGN, allowing "us to invest in our team by providing resources needed to help us scale to reach the next summit in our expansion."

In 2018, the firm has grown its service offerings to include enhanced cybersecurity and privacy services, Price says. "Looking forward, we have noted that up to 40 percent of all organizations have not addressed the requirements within the General Data Protection Regulation, and we have enhanced our privacy and GDPR offerings to help ensure that we have services that meet the needs of organizations looking to enhance their customers' privacy," he says. "We look forward to helping organizations meet their privacy requirements for the continued security of customer information."

On the survey, the firm excelled in the areas of Compensation & Benefits and Work/Life Balance. Why is that? "There is a talent shortage in the cybersecurity industry, so A-LIGN offers best-in-class compensation and benefits to ensure that talent wants to work at A-LIGN and grow with A-LIGN," Price says.
