Smith: We are on target to finish the year strongly and according to the strategic and operational plans we established for 2017. Whether from the perspective of meeting market demand through our various service offerings or being on target to meet our growth goals for the year, 2017 is shaping up to be an outstanding year at Impact Advisors.

Consulting: How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2018? Where do you see the most opportunities? 

Smith: As we approach 2018, we continue to look ahead, anticipating our clients' needs in an ever-changing and most dynamic environment. Many organizations have implemented their core enterprise technology solutions and are asking, "What's next?" The next phase will be to harvest the information out of these systems to radically optimize the delivery of care. The infusion of information into the healthcare delivery process is of tremendous importance. This will be a key differentiator in creating a unique patient experience.

Consulting: What would you say are your firm's biggest challenges in 2018? 

Smith: The healthcare industry is challenged with a level of uncertainty due to what the new healthcare bill and the next four years will bring to the industry. From a consulting perspective, our challenge will be shaping our services to react to that environment. Regardless of the landscape, our constant goal is to create efficient environments and operations for our clients.
