At 69 percent growth, Strativity lands at No. 36 on our Fastest Growing Firms list. Arussy sat down with Consulting to discuss it.
Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to you exceptional growth?
Arussy: The primary reasons for our growth were: Deepening client relationships and longer engagements with each client; Publicizing client success to create new prospects awareness; Expanding our average project size from both scope and dollar value; Establishing a new practice to execute strategies at the regional and local level. Imagine a corporate strategy translated to over 300 local action plans in three months; and, Rejecting clients we don't believe we can be successful working with.
Consulting: How is 2015 shaping up for your firm?
Arussy: 2015 is a year of investment and growth for us. We have added several new principals to address growing client needs. We have acquired a Saas technology company that brought with it over 100 clients and we are integrating it into our organization. New contact center optimization practice was established with some amazing success. Our communication offering was expanded as well to address branding and cultural communication work. The company and its clients have won several awards. And a new book documenting our success story with Mercedes Benz is due to be published in December documenting our success in transforming 25,000 employees in 360 independent dealers into the No. 1 customer satisfaction company in the automotive world.
Consulting: How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2016? Where do you see the most opportunities?
Arussy: Our main focus in 2016 is to maximize the value from the new acquisition and look for other possible targets. We are completely redefining the value proposition associated with the technology we acquired and look to engage with all the new clients that are using it. Additionally we see growth in the strategy execution work and strong interest in the automotive and health care sector.
Consulting: What do you see as the biggest challenges for your firm in 2016?
Arussy: We are experiencing a growth in staff and we want to make sure the passion and what we stand for is clear and shared by everyone. Our culture is core to our success and we do not want to cannibalize it while we are adding new talent to our team.
Consulting: What does being named one of Consulting's Fastest Growing Firms mean to your firm, your employees and your clients?
Arussy: It is an honor for our firm and our employees to be named one of the Fastest Growing Firms and confirmation for us that great things happen when you focus on your clients.
