The Fastest Growing Firms, 2015: 4Sight Supply Chain Group

With a 39 percent growth rate, 4SIGHT Supply Chain Group comes in at No. 46 on Consulting's Fastest Growing Firms list. Camean sat down with Consulting to discuss the firm and its future.

Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to you exceptional growth rate between the years 2011 and 2014?

Camean: It all boils down to our brand. That brand is made up of our people, our hard work, our high-quality workmanship & deliverables, our trusted long-term relationships with our clients, our strong partnerships, and our commitment to build mutually beneficial relationships. Any relationship that is one-sided doesn't last long at 4SIGHT. Over that period of time we have hired some of the best resources in our industry and have built a reputation for delivering on our promise with high caliber of professionalism. Every single client we sign up to do work with has received beneficial use of our services. Profits are not the single most important metric in our company.

Consulting: How is 2015 shaping up for your firm? 

Camean: This will be our best year ever. We have achieved record revenues and record staff. Key strategic hires took place in 2015 and we have another key announcement to make in December 2015 before the year closes that will that will position us for future growth and strengthen us in other areas of our business. It was a key year that will help shape our future.

Consulting: How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2016? Where do you see the most opportunities?

Camean: The booked backlog for 2016 is greater than it's ever been and we're positioning ourselves for what could be another record-breaking year. We see the most opportunities in Omni-Channel and software technology upgrades. Our Omni-Channel Practice is growing by servicing the needs of our dot-com and retail clients, and we also see increased activity with our 3PL clients who are taking on omni-channel customers into their distribution network.

Consulting: What do you see as the biggest challenges for your firm in 2016?

Camean: The biggest challenge is the large IT-staffing companies abusing our U.S. guest worker program driving down market rates. These large IT-staffing companies are using H-1B Visa employees as a turn-style of resources who are stealing American jobs and not offering nationalization to their H-1B visa employees, or permanent U.S. residency.

Consulting: What does being named one of Consulting's Fastest Growing Firms mean to your firm, your employees and your clients?

Camean: It means we're doing something right. It lets our clients know they have a partner for the long-haul, a partner that's here to stay, and a partner who's growing. Achieving this award in our sixth year is a testament that we're financially strong, stable, and here for the long-haul because statistics show that 50 percent of new startups only survive five years, and only 33 percent survive 10 years. This award demonstrates our growth and future stability and our commitment to building a leading supply chain consulting firm.
