Excellence in Healthcare
Age: 33

Vincent D'Itri was one of the first consultants to join Aspen Advisors, which is in the process of merging with the Chartis Group and become a strategic healthcare IT firm with about 250 billable consultants.

"I am so proud of what the firm has become," he says. "Having the opportunity to play an active role in the growth of a firm that has been regularly recognized as one of the top places to work in the consulting industry and in healthcare has been a rewarding experience. And now as we join The Chartis Group, I am energized and dedicated to contributing to a collective culture that embodies the same spirit that made both Chartis and Aspen standalone successes."

As a Manager with the firm, D'Itri's work aims to revolutionize clinical and translational research across the nation by increasing the number of participants in clinical trials, making them more effective.

"I love facing each new and different industry challenge with the prospects of fundamentally changing healthcare in our country," he says. "Currently, I am thrilled to be working with some of the United States' preeminent academic medical centers to increase high priority clinical trial participation by harnessing the power of electronic health record data. Increasing participation directly impacts researchers' and industry's ability to improve clinical trial effectiveness and get new cures to patients sooner."

For D'Itri, this profession is a family affair. His father was a longtime healthcare consultant, so he was exposed to the profession and lifestyle at a very early age. "He did such a great job at balancing the demands of delivering results for clients and raising a family," D'Itri says. "For as long as I can remember, I knew I wanted to do the very same thing."
