Ross Gilmore started at CapTech in 2006 and has been rapidly promoted to Senior Manager where he distinguishes himself by driving critical internal initiatives in addition to delivering high quality client work.

"CapTech has allowed me to be a leader and a change enabler, both for my clients and internally within the company," he says. "I don't enjoy taking 'no' for an answer and challenge the status quo as I look for ways to continually improve and innovate."

Gilmore says the ability to help clients overcome complex business problems by implementing custom-developed technical solutions is the most fulfilling aspect of a consulting career. "Technology and customer demands are always changing and it can be difficult for companies to keep pace," Gilmore says. "It's a thrill to work alongside Fortune 500 firms while delivering solutions."

Recently, he started CapTech's college internship program from scratch. Within two years, the program has gained national recognition as a premier college internship program, something he points to as his proudest accomplishment to date.

"As the demand for technical consultants increases, we recognized both a need and an opportunity to educate and groom future consultants," Gilmore says. "CapTech enabled me to start a program and build a supporting team of consultants to provide a unique internship experience for college students. We've been able to recruit some of the best and brightest consultants to CapTech."

As far as being named a Rising Star, Gilmore says it's "extremely humbling and affirms my belief that I've been mentored and groomed under some of the best and brightest people at CapTech, and I hope to do the same for other consultants around me."
