Kelly Hamski is a Senior Manager in the Operations Excellence Practice and the West Coast Organizational Change Management Practice Leader at West Monroe Partners.
With over 10 years of management consulting experience, she's served organizations of all sizes leading business transformation engagements with a focus and passion in change management, program management, leadership development, and implementation delivery excellence.
"What I love most about consulting is the relationships I have built with my clients," she says. "I can honestly say that some of my strongest relationships and closest friends are my clients. The consultant-client relationship is an incredibly unique, personal, and sometimes challenging connection that requires lots of special of care, but one that's ultimately rewarding when we create sustainable results."
Hamski says her proudest professional moment came this past year when she received the West Monroe Partners Sequoia Award for Mentoring, recognizing the individuals who have had a profound impact on others' career development. "The Sequoia Award is the most prestigious award at West Monroe—and much to my surprise, I received the most nominations in the history of the award," she says.
She follows that up with this Rising Stars award, which she says is an honor for her and the firm.
"Consulting firms are not typically synonymous with 'people-first' cultures. But ours has always been an atypical consulting environment—one where employees of all levels are empowered to take active roles in company leadership, professional development, collaboration, and fun."
