Erin Bartley is a Managing Director in Huron Healthcare, where she assists hospitals and health systems in many areas across the revenue cycle function, including patient access, case management, health information management, billing, collections, and vendor management.
Bartley says, while it may sound simple, thus far in her career she's most proud of delivering quality results to her clients. "I have worked with over 15 health systems and community hospitals delivering more than $150 million in annually recurring financial improvement," she says. "I'm proud of the impact these results have made to each health system and the communities that depend on them."
Bartley says she loves a challenge and enjoys solving problems for clients. The healthcare environment is rapidly changing, and clients need partners who can help them quickly respond to these challenges. "What excites me most is continuing to develop new solutions to address these challenges such as Huron Healthcare's Patient Responsibility solution and Health System Integration strategy," she says.
In addition to her client work, Erin is one of three co-sponsors for Huron's Women iMatter team, which is the largest affinity group at the firm. Serving in this role since 2012, she has been instrumental to setting the direction for the group. "My greatest achievement to-date in this role was championing an initiative that led to increased paid maternity leave and an Alternative Work Arrangements program," she says.
As far as being named a Rising Star of the Profession, Bartley says: "While it is personally rewarding, it is also testament to Huron's strong culture of coaching as well as the leadership opportunities it provides to all employees."
