Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation, a provider of information technology, consulting, and business process outsourcing services firm in Teacneck, N.J., reported revenue for the third quarter increased to $1.601 billion—up 7.8 percent from the second quarter and 31.6 percent year over year.
Net headcount addition for the quarter exceeded 12,000, which included approximately 4,000 employees from the CoreLogic India acquisition.
As part of the earnings call, Francisco D'Souza, President and CEO of Cognizant, said the Company anticipates fourth quarter revenue to be at least $1.66 billion and fiscal 2011 revenue to be at least $6.11 billion, up at least 33 percent compared to 2010.
