Fung is a project leader in the New York office of Monitor Group. Fung is focused on consumer goods and pharmaceuticals and has led a variety of competitive strategy, organizational redesign and innovation strategy projects. At Monitor, she heads the Local Training Initiative and the New York Women's Network. "I entered the industry at a time when U.S. clients and consulting firms were already nurturing environments in which women could thrive. Unfortunately, the situation for women consultants in other parts of the world is more challenging due to societal and cultural barriers," Fung says. "In the U.S., I'm grateful to be standing on the shoulders of women who spent their careers paving the way—these mentors have helped me to overcome specific tradecraft-related challenges." Fung is also active with undergraduate and graduate recruiting and with iMentor, which is an online mentorship program based in New York. Fung received her B.A. in political science from Yale University and an M.Phil from Oxford University.
