Jules B. Kroll, the founder of Kroll Inc., is retiring from MMC this month. Kroll founded Kroll Associates in 1972 as a consultant to corporate purchasing departments. The firm evolved into a consultancy that specializes in risk mitigation, including in the areas of forensic accounting, data recovery, employee screening, and corporate risk assessment and consulting. Kroll says his future plans include increased involvement in higher education.
