The 2008 Best Small Firms to Work For: FMI Corp. (No. 8)

But, based on the findings of our survey, the firm knows a thing or two about building a successful organization from the inside out. The firm's flexible work arrangements—flextime, telecommuting and flexible travel schedules—are a big hit with its 114 billable consultants. The consultants who completed out survey ranked flextime high on the satisfaction scale—a 4.80 out of 5.00. The firm also got high marks for its vacation policy. These, and other factors, helped the firm grab the fifth spot in the area of work/life balance.
