Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. announced that David Nadler has been appointed vice chairman, Office of the CEO, of MMC. Nadler assumes his new position immediately.

In his role as vice chairman, Nadler, will co-lead with fellow vice chairman Mathis Cabiallavetta global efforts to leverage MMC's client relationships across its businesses. His focus will be developing new business opportunities from clients who would benefit from the company's market-leading positions in the fields of enterprise risk management and human capital consulting. Nadler will have primary responsibility for developing MMC's major North American account relationships. Cabiallavetta already serves a similar role internationally as chairman of MMC International.

Nadler will report to Michael G. Cherkasky, president and chief executive officer of MMC, and will serve as a member of the MMC executive committee.

Nadler was the founder and CEO of the Delta Consulting Group, Inc., which in the year 2000 joined Marsh & McLennan Companies and became Mercer Delta Consulting, LLC.
