Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide signed a deal that offers its Preferred Guest Platinum members a free membership in the Clear registered traveler program for one year.

Starwood Loyalty Can Lead to Clear Sailing at Airport Security Gates Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide signed a deal that offers its Preferred Guest Platinum members a free membership in the Clear registered traveler program for one year. Gold and Preferred members can receive a free three-month trial membership. To participate, Starwood loyalty club members must register with Clear before March 1.

Members of Clear, the airport security fastpass, have their identities authenticated and receive a card that allows access to separate Clear security lanes at airports in Atlanta, Denver, Orlando, San Francisco, New York, Washington and 12 other cities.

Mark Vondrasek, senior vice president of distribution, loyalty, and partnership marketing for Starwood, says the deal is part of discovering "new ways to further enhance our loyal guests' entire travel experience."
