Jim Schacht, a managing director at Navigant working in the Financial, Insurance and Claims Services practice, has announced his impending departure from the firm to start his own consultancy. Schacht, who has 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, says his aim is to "continue to provide regulatory, run-off, restructuring and other advisory services, nationally and internationally.
"With my own firm," he wrote in an e-mail April 29, "I will have fewer professional constraints and a
platform to bring new and innovative services to the industry."
