(Mar. 2, 2006) -- Chicago -- Navigant Consulting, Inc.'s Board of
Directors unanimously elected Julie M. Howard as President and Chief
Operating Officer of the Company. Howard previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

As President and Chief Operating Officer, Howard is responsible for the overall management of company operations, to include business unit
operations, strategic planning and human capital development.

Howard has worked for professional services firms since 1986 and has
extensive experience in litigation and business consulting environments.
She began her career as a consultant before serving in numerous
management positions, primarily focused on business operations and human capital management.
