(June 3, 2008) - New York - Deloitte announced June 3 an agreement to acquire Boulder, Colo.-based Solbourne Computer Inc., a systems integration firm that provides enterprise services. Solbourne's services are based on Oracle Fusion Middleware technology and Oracle’s E-Business Suite and PeopleSoft Enterprise applications.

According to Deloitte, Solbourne's management team and more than 120 professionals are expected to join Deloitte’s Enterprise Applications, Technology Integration and Human Capital service areas.

“We look forward to welcoming members of Solbourne to Deloitte,” said Karen Mazer, Deloitte’s Oracle service line leader. “The acquisition of Solbourne by Deloitte will strengthen and extend our existing Oracle E-Business Suite and PeopleSoft Enterprise capabilities for clients, which can further establish Deloitte as a leading Oracle systems integrator."

This addition will improve Deloitte’s ability to capitalize on Oracle's strategic direction by broadening and deepening Deloitte’s service capabilities in Oracle’s core and emerging applications and technology products, such as Human Capital and Fusion Middleware, according to the New York-headquartered consultancy.
