(May 8, 2008) - Triangle Park, NC - Healthcare solutions company Quintiles Transnational Corp. has entered into an agreement to purchase Eidetics, a privately held decision-analytics and market research consulting firm in Boston.

The purchase will help Quintiles expand its consulting arm. Eidetics has been providing research-based market insights and data analytics for 20 years.

According to Quintiles, the transaction is contingent upon the completion of certain conditions of the purchase agreement.
