(June 6, 2006) -- Stamford, CT -- Archstone Consulting announced it has agreed to buy The Hazelton Group, a research-based brand development consulting firm.

Based in Toronto, Canada, The Hazelton Group touts a methodology to present branding solutions across global markets, while addressing localization differences. The firm will now be an Archstone Consulting LLC company and will continue to operate under The Hazelton Group name, with continuing leadership from the existing Hazelton senior management team. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Earlier this year Archstone Consulting announced the opening of its London office and late in 2005 the opening of its Netherlands office. With the purchase of The Hazelton Group, Archstone has added a Canadian presence.
