Industry Trends

Throughout the management consulting industry, the average cost of a professional is 75.8 percent of the per capita revenue of the firm, which is very close to the median cost of 77.3 percent of the per capita revenue. Those in the 90th percentile cost 95.8 percent of revenue per capita, while those in the 10th percentile cost a mere 51.7 percent of revenue per capita. This discrepancy seems representative of the relatively high cost of senior-level consultants compared to the much lower cost of junior-level consultants.
